Steering Committee Established

The Board of Trustees approved the university’s strategic plan at its meeting in September. As part of the plan, the board also approved an implementation process. This process identifies executive sponsors for each theme area and calls for each theme area to have a working subcommittee. These workgroups will help develop theme priorities and metrics.

The executive sponsors for the theme areas will soon be identifying subcommittees with inclusive representation. The executive sponsors are listed below. Should you be interested in participating in a workgroup, please reach out to the appropriate executive sponsor.

The implementation section of the strategic plan also calls for a Strategic Plan

Implementation Steering Committee. Members of this committee include, among others, the executive sponsors of the six theme areas and leaders of the DEI and RVSM planning efforts.

President Stanley charged the steering committee to expeditiously establish each theme’s subcommittee, support coordination and facilitate communication. The workgroups can then get to the work of advising on plan prioritization and implementation.
